Essi graduated from the European School of Osteopathy, Kent with a master degree. She enjoys treating all kind of people from any age with a special interest in acute and chronic back, neck and shoulder pain as well as headaches due to her own experiences form migraines.
Essi uses biopsychosocial model meaning that she is identifying all the factors contributing to patient’s complaint and not only focusing on relieving the symptoms. Together with the patient she tailors a management plan, which can be carried out from the clinic. She offers number of different techniques from manipulations to gentle articulations and soft tissue techniques depending on patient’s need to provide long lasting results.
Alongside Essi’s osteopathic treatment she also offers medical acupuncture, sports and kinesiology taping, which may be included to the treatment.
She is currently undertaking a course to become a Pilates instructor as she enjoys exercise based rehabilitation with her patients.
In her past, she was keen dancer and athletic instructor for children giving her insight to sport related injuries. On her free time Essi plays the saxophone, she enjoys sport related activities such as yoga, running and gym. On holidays Essi likes hiking and has a passion for skiing and scuba diving.
